‘GMA’ Schedules Chris Brown After Canceling Adam Lambert

By The PopEater Staff

Days after canceling Adam Lambert‘s “Good Morning America” concert, producers have scheduled Chris Brown for an interview and a performance, angering many, the New York Post reports.

“The network is giving a mixed message — that it doesn’t trust someone who shocked with an unpredictable show and a gay kiss, but then it is happy to go ahead with Chris Brown, who was convicted of felony assault,” an ABC source tells the New York Post.

After Lambert’s raunchy AMAs appearance, in which the former ‘American Idol’ runner-up kissed his male keyboardist and shoved his backup dancer’s face into his crotch, ABC — which aired the AMAs — scrapped him from its ‘GMA’ lineup.

ABC insists it had nothing to do with the gay kiss, but that Lambert “showed himself to be unpredictable on live TV.”

The network also says that Brown’s appearance was scheduled long before Lambert was canceled.

“Chris Brown’s interview was booked way before Adam Lambert took to the stage. It is to give him a chance to respond to Rihanna’s interview. The possibility of him performing a song will be worked out next week,” an insider revealed.

My 2 Cents:

I’m calling ABC’s bullshit on this one. They didn’t cancel Adam Lambert because he “showed himself to be unpredictable on live TV,” they canceled him because they don’t want him expressing his homosexuality on their TV network. They’re afraid that it will offend many of their viewers.

I personally don’t give a fuck who Adam Lambert offends with his behavior. He’s a human being just like anyone else and he should be allowed to kiss guys and put their face in his crotch on TV if he wants to.

Notice how no one complains when Britney Spears does the same raunchy shit with her dancers. Why? Because she’s straight and the “politically correct” United States of America doesn’t have a problem with sex as long as its heterosexual.

This is just one more example of why the conglomerates and established institutions of this nation sicken me.
