Professor’s Notes:

Wouldn’t be as awesome without the Imogen Heap sample on the chorus. Still, the lead-in section to the chorus is rather catchy and the verse melodies are good as well. Some of the lyrics on the verses are cheesy as hell though.

J.R. Rotem did an excellent job with the production on “Whatcha Say”. Jason DeRulo is a good singer but the fierce pop/synth beat and the fantastic “Hide and Seek” snippet take center stage on this song. It will definitely play again in your head after you hear it.
