Well guys…the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards are finally upon us! Below, I have listed my predictions for winners in fifty-five different categories ranging from genres such as Pop, R&B and country. More so, I have made runner-up positions for those nominees that could as easily beat the given frontrunners for the prize. So, without further ado, here they are:

It’s official: BET’s number one video for 2010 is “Deuces” by Chris Brown featuring Tyga and Kevin McCall. This came as no surprise to me for a number a reasons including the fact that it spent nine weeks atop Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart. Also, Brown received three Grammy nominations last month (one being Rap/Sung Collabo for “Deuces”) and was arguably the most memorable thing about last year’s BET awards with his moving tribute performance to Michael Jackson.
Best Rap/Sung Collaboration
Beyoncé & Kanye West, “Ego”
Keri Hilson, Kanye West & Ne-Yo, “Knock You Down”
Jay-Z, Rihanna & Kanye West, “Run This Town”
The Lonely Island & T-Pain, “I’m on a Boat”
T.I. & Justin Timberlake, “Dead and Gone”
Out of all the different genres recognized by the GRAMMYs, the rap categories are usually the easiest for me to predict (due to voters’ tendency to stick with the familiar or most popular).
