Professor’s Notes:

Fantastic production and a sticky-icky hook. Combines the best elements of pop and R&B with an urban/electro pop beat that anchors the vocals rather nicely. I wasn’t in the least bit surprised to find out that Sean Kingston and Jason DeRulo (“Whatcha Say”) co-wrote this song with Iyaz.

J.R. Rotem, “Replay”s producer, is an unstoppable force right now in pop music with “Replay”, “Whatcha Say” (Jason DeRulo), and “Better in Time” (Leona Lewis) all performing very well on the Billboard charts. Rotem could be well on his way to receiving accolades as pop producer of the year for 2009.
