New Boyz "You're a Jerk" is now #24 on the US Billboard Hot 100
Back in June we predicted that “You’re a Jerk” would be a Billboard top 40 hit record a few days before it entered onto the chart at #32.
This week “You’re a jerk” moved up to the #24 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This indicates to me that the song is now receiving airplay on pop stations in addition to the urban stations that were already spinning the record.
If this trend continues I expect “You’re a Jerk” to break inside the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 in a week or two. “You’re a Jerk” won’t reach the top 10 but it has the potential to probably get as high as #12.
Right now, in addition to its #24 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 “You’re a Jerk” is #4 on the Billboard Hot Rap chart. It very well could become a #1 song on the Hot Rap chart but don’t expect those kind of results on the main Billboard chart.
